Yet another absolutely amazing game, dude.

But, help me out here with the terrace. I've done a TON of combinations of the levers in Eleanor's head, and taken some notes on outcomes, but I can't find the solution that gets a success:

SPOILER

chain – ends meeting
key, copper, scarlet
copper, scarlet, chain - ends meeting
ivory, key, velvet
velvet, ivory, key – fear of theft

Is there actually a puzzle here, or is it just kind of whatever? I at least need a hint...!

I also got a deadend when I checked my inventory while doing something on the terrace, but didn't think to take notes on what caused it, because I reloaded an older save instead. Oops!

Ayy, thank you! I'm glad you like it, that's really nice to hear :)

Alright, so, don’t worry about it, that puzzle is very open-ended! It is meant to be trialed and errored over and over. There also isn’t a clear-cut successful route, just a more impactful one that also reveals something about Mary once you return to the terrace in the present. That's all I can say here without spoiling it... but! Someone asked the same question on the weight gaming forum, so you can check my spoiler free answer there.

Let me know if you end up finding that bug again, I'm sure it's nothing that can't be fixed. To be perfectly honest, the whole terrace area is basically spaghetti code - I'm in awe that you've gone through all of those permutations and never encountered any game breaking bug along the way.

Hi Dark, how's your games going?

Do you still need a game tester?

Hey!

Progress on the game has been slow, but there has been some of it! Very little compared to the full scope of this second chapter, but most of the work has gone into the gameplay loop, and in testing and making sure it works without issue.

As for beta testers, I currently don't! Again, not enough things laid out for that. I'll let you know when I'll be ready to have it tested with a post on this page, and also one in the Weight Gaming forums :)

How does one get the endings? From other comments it seems there's supposed to be a more descriptive ending after returning to the vessel, but all I get is "What an achievement", the ability to click the epilogue, and then it says "end of chapter 1". Also got the handbag to finish with artifacts but don't know what it is supposed to be for.

Am I stuck or does the demo not contain any progression?
Its pottery "sherds" btw

(+2)

For now, you can get one of three chapter endings by returning to the vessel :)

Also, I was sure you were wrong, but you're not - the spelling sherd instead of shard seems to be actually preferred by archeologists. How interesting! I'll be sure to fix this in the next patch

good to know, thanks

Here is a hint: Check your inventory. Like literally everywhere. Managed to get ending 1 and 3, although I don't know what is required for 2.

The "You were there when needed" text deadends.

Fixed! Just a typo in the link, should be good now.

Do you plan on making a walk through at any point ? I can't seem to get anything besides the first ending, no matter how much I do .

Ah, well, I might eventually, I think I will probably wait at least a week or two before doing that - I'd like for people to explore a bit on their own

Thats understandable. How about one for your last game, since that ones already been out for a hot minute, it seems?

Oh yeah you're right, pretty much 2 years since the release. I should totally do that!

The successful cutscene with the sewing box and knife deadends

I might have fixed it!

Yup, ty!
